Pokémon cards in McDonald's Happy Meals: US launch November 10, two cards per toy
McDonald's brings 15 Pokémon mini boxes and 15 reprinted cards, two per toy. The US starts November 10; other countries follow through February.
McDonald's announced a new Pokémon Happy Meal on October 29, 2026, tied to the franchise's 30th anniversary. The US starts on November 10. Australia, Canada, Fiji, France, New Zealand and Spain are also in the November group, followed by about 40 countries in December, more in January 2027, and Ireland and the UK in February 2027.
Exact dates outside the US are unclear. Dexerto says they have not been announced, and French outlets disagree: Journal du Geek gives November 10, while L'Express Franchise says the day has not been set. Ask your local restaurant or check the app.
Each Happy Meal includes one toy from a set of 15 mini Happy Meal boxes shaped with Pokémon faces, which can clip on as charms. Each toy comes with two cards from a set of 15 reprints. Three Happy Meal boxes feature Pikachu, Torchic and Umbreon.
The full card list has not been confirmed for every country. Dexerto mentions Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Squirtle and Umbreon among the featured Pokémon, and PokeGuardian found two different 15-card lists without knowing how they are split by region. Most of the artwork comes from older sets.
The offer is limited to one toy per Happy Meal at participating restaurants, while stocks last. McDonald's does not publish quantities per location. In Japan the chain apologized in August 2025 after long lines and bulk buying, according to AFP as cited by L'Express Franchise, so do not count on guaranteed stock at your local restaurant.
