Disney Lorcana Core Constructed ban on November 3: My Adventure Book, and why
Ravensburger bans My Adventure Book in Core and Bend to My Will in the Coconut beta format. Here is what changed and why.
Ravensburger updated Disney Lorcana's formats on November 3, 2026, with changes effective the same day.
In Core Constructed, the item My Adventure Book, from Attack of the Vine!, released in July 2026, is banned. Tournaments and competitive events at Ravensburger Play Hub stores no longer accept lists containing it. The team says it gives too much stability to decks that run few or no characters and favors decks built on items and actions, which it sees as moving away from fun, dynamic play.
In the Coconut format, currently in beta and played in groups up to 25 lore, Bend to My Will is banned there and only there. The team says it freezes the game, leaving opponents able to do little beyond playing the card they just drew. It also lengthens games and comes up more often in group play than one on one. No other card worries them for now, though they will keep watching.
The list also repeats that Hiram Flaversham - Toymaker is banned in Infinity Constructed, which dates back to March 2026.
Collectors' binders do not change: these cards still exist and remain playable among friends.
As a reminder, Core rotates once a year. Since Attack of the Vine!, it only accepts cards from Fabled and later sets, with exceptions for some reprints. Infinity allows almost every card ever printed, except its own ban list.
