One Piece Card Game: Dracule Mihawk OP14-020 banned from October 12, 2026, new Leader P-163
Bandai banned the Dracule Mihawk Leader OP14-020, alt arts included, from October 12. A new P-163 version will be distributed at future events.
Bandai updated its banned and restricted list for One Piece Card Game on September 24, 2026. One card is named: OP14-020 Dracule Mihawk, from The Azure Sea's Seven. Since October 12, 2026 it has been banned, Parallel (Alt-Art) versions included, and cannot go in any deck.
Bandai says that as more boosters came out, some combinations with this card became more powerful than expected and moved the game away from the intended experience. It adds that the card heavily limited {Slash} attribute Leaders and reduced Leader diversity, including for future releases.
Existing copies stay in your binder, they just cannot be played under this rule. If you buy a copy to play rather than keep, check the ban first.
There is a replacement of sorts: a new Leader, P-163 Dracule Mihawk, with new text, to be distributed at future events. The pages we read do not list those events, so availability in Europe is still open.
For players, any list using OP14-020 needs rebuilding. The headline mentions additions and removals but Mihawk is the only card named in the text we read, so check the full official list before a tournament. Retail calendars repeat the same October 12 date.
